Operations Clerk

Under direct supervision, and assists the Administrative Operations team. This is a part-time, non-exempt position that will be responsible for the following:

 

Duties & Responsibilities

        • Assist with tax return assembly, extensions and e-filings, and scanning.
        • Assist with client database setup, maintenance and support.
        • May assist operations team with processing billing for the firm.
        • Assist with other administrative/operations tasks.

Characteristics

        • Ability to professionally interact and effectively communicate with partners, managers and staff.
        • Exhibit an ability and willingness to take on and learn new tasks and procedures quickly and to handle multiple assignments without difficulty.
        • Demonstrate maturity, strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
        • Ability to use standard word processing and related computer software applications.

Qualifications

        • College Accounting major a plus.
        • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
        • Knowledge of tax preparation software a plus.
