Andrea Ferran specializes in Human Resources consulting services including policies and procedures, benefits administration, payroll, performance management, recruiting, training, recordkeeping and administrative support.

As Chief Operating Officer for HMWC CPAs & Business Advisors, she brings over 25 years experience in human resources management and business administration.

Experience
Andrea worked as Finance and Administration Manager for an international software development company for 16 years prior to joining HMWC.  Prior experience includes human resources and administrative support roles in a variety of industries including automotive aftermarket, hospitality, and retail.

Education
Andrea earned her B.S. degree from California State University, Long Beach in Business Administration, Human Resources Management in 1984.  She also holds a Paralegal certificate, is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and is a Notary Public.

Professional & Community Involvement
Andrea is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), Association for Accounting Administrators (AAA), National Notary Association (NNA), participates as Chairperson of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA) Administration Interest Group, and is a member of the CSCPA. She is also a past volunteer for Junior Achievement teaching the program of empowering young people to their own economic success at a local elementary school for three years.
